Chess Club
| Chess Club - Wednesdays - Grades 2 to 6 Session two is underway. No club held on April 4th. Friends to play chess, learn strategies to improve your game, and experience tournament play! We are a fun interactive group coached by a Senior Chess Master from the U.S. Chess Center. Chess promotes critical thinking and good sportsmanship skills that last a lifetime. We welcome beginning and returning players. Winter/Spring Session Two registration includes 15 sessions beginning February 1, 2012. Chess club meets on Wednesdays immediately after school from 3:20-4:45 pm in the cafeteria. Parent volunteers are needed. A light snack and club t-shirt will be provided (included in fee, for new members.) Please contact Dana Jackins at jackins@cox.net with any questions. $75 per session.
